Amelia

Amelia was born and raised in northern California and has worked at Oak Tree under the previous owner off and on since 2008. Amelia has traveled the West following her passion for Equines. From packing mules in the Eastern Sierras of California, teaching survival skills, chasing beautiful sunsets in New Mexico and Texas, or observing wildlife in Yellowstone National Park, Amelia has done it all on the back of a horse.

Andrew

Andrew grew up in Minnesota and moved to Colorado in 2013. He dove head first into the working world of horses starting out at the guest ranch where he met Amelia. He took over winter care for the ranch’s herd of 30 horses in a high elevation and remote pasture where the horses needed daily attention no matter the weather. Eventually he took a job as a head groom/barn manager for a private family barn in Aspen for several years where he cared for the family’s prized show horses while still facilitating care to the previous ranches horses. Finally, he moved to California to be with Amelia and to pursue taking on the honor of running Oak Tree Stables with her.
